Good News – The fish cleaning station is complete! The gazebo is finished with paint and the grinder has been moved in. You can view the pictures of the process in our picture gallery.

The Sanitary Fish Cleaning Station is a stainless steel cleaning table with attached water hoses and commercial grinder to grind up the fish entrails and dispose them into the county sanitary sewer system. This is at Marsh’s Landing which is located on the north side of Valhalla Island. This landing is very busy and a heavily used fishing located due to its close proximity to the Valhalla Island campground.  The new system is a sanitary and proper way to handle fish cleaning needs.  Cost for the station complete with gazebo housing, concrete and electrical wiring was $20,000.  Additional stations at other locations may be considered as the need arises.
